What You Can ExpectAs our Intern, Preconstruction (Renewables) you will support the ENGIE Renewables Engineering and Delivery team with the broader Renewables Business Unit to support the preconstruction phase of key wind, solar, and energy storage projects. You will get the opportunity to engage with ENGIE’s Development team, contractors, and suppliers to support project development and contracting.
- Support process improvement initiatives around the request for proposal (RFP) and bid evaluation processes
- Assist in administration of the RFP process with identified contractors and projects
- Monitor contractor performance and report feedback to the greater business team
- Coordinate with ENGIE Development, Engineering, and Project Management teams for successful contracting of assigned projects
What You’ll BringMust be at least a junior or senior working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field * Ability to create documents and recognize process improvements
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical product specifications
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and a team player, collaborating with others to optimize business processes, and excellent organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Project
- Passion for renewable energy project development

- The internship work term will be from January 2025 to May 2025
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy in the Westminster, CO office
